Valentine Krispie Kisses
Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats shaped like Hershey Kisses with a surprise Hershey Kiss in the middle. They are wrapped in foil and have custom written tags to look like Hershey Kisses.
Equipment
- Small funnels or tapered bowls to shape the Krispie Kisses.
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter 8 tablespoons, we used salted
- 16 oz bag mini marshmallows
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 6 cups rice Krispie cereal
- 1 bag chocolate chips
- 7 or 8 hershey kisses unwrapped
Packaging
- tin foil squares
- strips of paper
- markers
Instructions
- Add the butter to a pan and melt over medium heat.
- Stir in the marshmallows and continue to heat until melted.
- Add in the chocolate chips and stir until melted and combined.
- Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla.
- Add in the rice Krispie cereal and gently stir until combined.
- Fill half of each lightly greased funnel or bowl with the Krispie mixture, add a Hershey Kiss to the middle and top off with more of the Krispie mixture.
- Remove from the funnels or cones. Create a tip on the tops if using small bowls.
- Write messages on each strip of paper and cut foil into squares.
- Wrap each Krispie Kiss in foil with a tag coming out the top.
