- 4 Granny Smith apples or similar tart apples, diced
- 5 Snickers candy bars chopped
- 16 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce optional
Dice the apples and add to a bowl of water with a little lemon juice, this will help prevent browning. Let soak while making the sauce.
Add the cold heavy whipping cream to the bowl of a mixer with 1/4 cup of the powdered sugar and whip until peaks form. Move the whipped cream to a bowl and set aside.
Add the softened cream cheese to the same mixer with 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and whip until smooth.
Add half of the whipped cream to the mixer with the cream cheese and mix until smooth, then fold in the remaining whipped cream.
Drain the apples while you chop up the snickers bar.
Once the apples are drained and not wet, fold them into the cream cheese sauce along with the chopped Snickers bars.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
Best served fresh, but will keep in the fridge for a couple of days.
