HOT HONEY

Hot Honey is made with just 3 ingredients and comes together in ust a few minutes. It is the perfect blend of sweet and heat and is good on so many things. Try it drizzled over roasted veggies, hot bread and biscuits, corn on the cob, and meats. It is also great for dipping!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup honey plain clover honey, or honey of your choice
  • 2 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp Frank's Red Hot Sauce original flavor

Instructions
 

  • Add the honey to a saucepan and sprinkle with the crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Cook over medium heat while stirring for 4 to 5 minutes just until bubbling.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in 2 teaspoons of Frank's Red Hot Sauce.
  • Let the honey rest for 10-15 minutes to let the flavors to infuse.
  • Taste the honey to make sure the heat is where you want it. Too hot? Add a little plain honey. Not hot enough? Let it sit longer.
  • Pour the hot honey through a strainer into a bowl or cup.
  • Cover and store at room temperature for up to 3 months
