Grandma Mildred's Family Favorite Kiwi Jelly

Kiwifruit, lime juice, and pineapple. This jelly will quickly become a favorite!

Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 kiwifruit sliced thin, chopped
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 can crushed pineapple undrained, 8 oz.
  • 1 pouch liquid pectin 3 oz.
  • 3 drops green food coloring

Equipment

  • Large microwave safe bowl.
  • Sanitized jars or freezer containers, enough to hold 4 cups jelly.

Method
 

  1. Place kiwi, pineapple with juice, lime juice, and sugar in a microwave safe bowl and stir.
  2. Microwave on high 10-12 minutes until it reaches a full, rolling boil, stirring every 2 minutes.
  3. Carefully remove from microwave and stir in the liquid pectin and food coloring.
  4. Pour into clean jars or freezer containers.
  5. Allow to cool to room temperature. Let sit overnight, but no longer than 24 hours.
  6. Refrigerate or freeze.
  7. Enjoy!
