Grandma Coco's Fudgy Frosted Brownies
These brownies are rich and decadent! They are quick to throw together and are a real crowd pleaser.

- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 cup cocoa we recommend Dutch processed
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs large or extra large
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
Frosting:
- 6 Tbsp butter softened
- 1/4 cup cocoa we recommend Dutch processed
- 1 tsp vanilla
- dash salt
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 3 cups powdered sugar
In a pan or microwave safe bowl, heat butter until melted.
Add the cocoa and mix well.
Mix in the 2 cups of sugar
Add the salt and vanilla.
Beat 4 eggs and add to the batter and mix to combine.
Mix in the flour until incorporated. Batter will be thick.
Spread batter evenly in a greased 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes until toothpick comes out mostly clean.
Frosting:
Beat the softened butter and cocoa together until smooth.
Add vanilla, salt and milk and mix well. Slowly add the powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached.

Once brownies have cooled, spread frosting evenly over them. Slice and serve.
