We LOVE apples at our house and I cut one up for my boys at least once a day. A lot of the time we just eat plain apple slices or apple slices dipped in peanut butter, but when we want a really delicious snack we whip up this Peanut Butter Honey Yogurt Dip!
Ingredients for Peanut Butter Honey Yogurt Dip:
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1-2 Tbsp. honey
- sprinkle of cinnamon (optional)
We can handle that simple ingredient list, right?! The cinnamon is totally optional, but is so dang good! Really, honey is optional too if you are watching sweets. We have made this plenty of times with just peanut butter and greek yogurt and it is gobbled up!
This dip is PACKED with protein and makes for a nice, healthy snack!
What do you dip in it?
Our favorite is apples! We love crisp apples like Granny Smith, but our very favorite is Honey Crisp. Our small-town grocery store often has honey crisp apples on sale, sometimes as low as 99 cents a pound! Any fruit paired with this dip is wonderful, it is also great with salty crackers.
How do you make Peanut Butter Honey Yogurt Dip?
This is the most simple recipe on the planet! Measure out your greek yogurt and peanut butter, place it in a bowl, and drizzle with honey. Now just take a spoon and stir until it is thoroughly mixed and smooth. Doesn’t get any easier than that!
CAN I USE FLAVORED GREEK YOGURT?
Absolutely! Any flavor that pairs well with peanut butter would work well for this recipe. If your yogurt is flavored and sweetened you may want to add less honey. We think Vanilla Greek Yogurt is yummy in this recipe.
WHAT TYPE OF PEANUT BUTTER SHOULD I USE?
We used Jiffy Creamy butter, but any peanut butter will do! You like all-natural peanut butter? Go for it. Crunchy peanut butter? I’m sure the extra crunch will be delicious!
WHAT ABOUT HONEY?
If you are lucky enough to have access to fresh raw honey that’s amazing, but we just used honey we got at Costco. As long as it isn’t crystalized, you’re good to go!
What are you going to pair with your Peanut Butter Honey Yogurt Dip?
Definitely give this simple recipe a try! It can be stored in the fridge up to week and is so creamy and delicious, you’ll want to keep it on hand for daily snacking.
