Family Conversation Hearts

Sharing is caring!

Last year my husband and I put these love notes on our kids’ doors and for each other for 14 days until Valentines Day. It was so dang fun! The kids felt so loved and it really created a sweet spirit in our home for those couple weeks. The kids would grin ear to ear each morning as they read the new notes on their door. Levi, my six year old, has been asking me for weeks if I am going to do this again this year. The answer is YES! We decided to increase the fun this year and let the kids write notes too. They are way excited!

Last year we used black cardstock and cut out the hearts by hand and wrote on them with chalkboard markers. This year we are doing conversation hearts on pastel paper. I bought a pack that has four different colors so we each get one color to write on. That way we will know who wrote each note. Please let us know if you hop on the love train! I have friends that use big envelopes or mail boxes for each person. I love those ideas too! It was fun to have these notes taped to the doors and they stayed there long after Valentines Day was over.
