Orange Cinnamon Cranberry Sauce

- 12 oz. fresh or frozen cranberries
- ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 oranges, zest and juice
- ⅓ cup white sugar
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- Zest the oranges and set zest aside.
- Juice both oranges to equal 1 cup, add water if not enough juice to equal one cup.
- Add juice and sugars to a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Add cranberries and cinnamon and reduce heat to medium.
- Continue to stir and cook for 5 to 10 minutes until the cranberries have popped and the sauce has thickened.
- Once desired consistency is reached, remove from heat and stir in zest.
- The sauce will thicken as it cools.
- Serve at room temperature or cold.
